My client is a consulting business that supports investors and management teams in periods of rapid growth or difficulty. Set up in 2004 by a leading entrepreneur, they are now seeking an entrepreneurial and commercially-minded lawyer to join their existing function. Working with circa 120 SMEs, they provide the full gamut of consulting services including legal, corporate governance, HR management, M&A, restructuring and fundraising. They are a regulated law firm and due to continued expansion, are looking for a dedicated employment lawyer to work closely with the General Counsel and the Head of People. The successful candidate will be responsible for advising the firm's clients on the whole spectrum of employment and HR related matters and will also be involved in running employment seminars.
The ideal candidate will be have at least 5 years' post-qualified experience gained within the employment team of a law firm, or already have transitioned in-house. The role will suit someone who is looking to move away from a traditional private practice model, into a growing, fast-paced and entrepreneurial business. A part-time arrangement could be on offer, for the right candidate.
