Business Development Assistant

My client, an international law firm, is looking for a Business Development Assistant to join their team.

The role of is to support the Business Development Manager and Business Development Executive in the execution of marketing plans and campaigns and to help in the identification and creation of opportunities to win new business.


  • Developing, reviewing and updating planning and budgeting materials, participating in meetings, amending documents
  • Support pitching - including statements of experience, client quotes/testimonials, basic research, organising meetings, partner and fee earner biographies and core factual/policy information.
  • Creating brochures, team sheets and other client facing marketing documents.
  • Producing digital newsletters, legal updates and other direct mailings
  • Creating and maintaining internet and intranet content
  • Organising targeted events such as seminars, workshops, receptions and client hospitality
  • Developing key information for quick use in proposals.

Paralegals who are looking for a change in direction may potentially be a good fit for this role - particularly those with Disputes + Regulatory or Private Wealth experience. Candidates MUST have excellent proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and ideally some knowledge of marketing databases (preferably InterAction).
