Job description

You will provide senior level support to business teams in the UK and Europe, as well as advising the Capital Markets leadership team and key stakeholders on legal and regulatory matters. The ideal candidate will be a qualified solicitor with a minimum of 6 years' post-qualification experience* with a desire to take on a broad role with mentoring responsibilities.

You will have a background in securities, corporate and banking law including a solid grounding in the Listing Rules, Prospectus Rules, AIM Rules and the UK Takeover Code. The successful candidate will need to have experience of a range of equity and debt capital markets transactions and have a willingness to pick up and run with other types of transactions from time to time. You will currently be a part of a Capital Markets team, ideally in a magic or silver circle, or white-shoe law firm. You may have already transitioned in-house with a major financial institution. Your recent experience must be within the UK. There is prominent leaning to the ECM over DCM experience.
