Steward’s Health Care Network has expanded in Europe, hiring Iñigo Gómez-Jordana as General Counsel EMEA & LatAm, based in Madrid, Spain.
Steward Health Care cares for approximately 2.2 million patients, and provides more than 12 million patient appointments, per year. Steward Medical Group, their employed physician group, delivers more than six million appointments per year. They have 39 community hospitals across nine states, with more than 43,000 employees. Iñigo Gómez-Jordana opened Clifford Chance in Spain in 1987 and practised there until he opened the Allen & Overy office in Madrid in 2001, where he was Managing Partner. Iñigo later practised as a corporate/M&A partner at DLA Piper, before being recruited by Steward Health Care International at its General Counsel EMEA & LatAm. Iñigo has over 25 years’ experience in capital markets transactions, including derivatives, debt and equity, as well as in corporate finance and corporate transactions, specifically cross-border mergers & acquisitions and numerous public take-overs.
