Modern Slavery Statement

This statement sets out the position of the SSQ Group (‘SSQ’) on opposing modern slavery and human trafficking as part of SSQ’s business and supply chain. SSQ is a global specialist legal recruitment company, and this policy covers the group and its subsidiaries, the details of which are listed on the SSQ website. SSQ’s headquarters are in the UK and it employs around 100 people in 13 offices worldwide, with a global turnover in excess of £40million.

Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights. It can take numerous forms, such as slavery, servitude, compulsory and/or forced labour and human trafficking, all of which represent the deprivation and manipulation of a person’s liberty by another to exploit them for personal or commercial gain. SSQ is committed to a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, to acting ethically and with integrity in its business dealings, and to implementing systems and controls to ensure modern slavery is not taking place in our own business or in our supply chains. All suppliers to the SSQ Group are expected to meet our high professional standards and comply with applicable legislation.

As a recruitment agency SSQ works with suppliers across facilities management, information technology, marketing and professional services as well as with umbrella companies and temporary workers. We have good relationships with our suppliers and visibility in our supply chain. Our suppliers are required to share our aims to prevent, detect and report modern slavery in any part of their business or supply chains.

Our employees receive comprehensive guidance on identifying modern slavery and are expected to raise any concerns or suspicions of modern slavery at the earliest possible stage. SSQ supports anyone who raises a concern in good faith, even if it is mistaken. Any person who is unsure about whether a particular act, the general treatment of workers, or their working conditions within any tier of our supply chains constitutes any of the various forms of modern slavery is encouraged to raise it.

SSQ’s Operations team has overall responsibility for ensuring this policy complies with SSQ’s legal and ethical obligations. Our approach to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking is reviewed annually and the effectiveness of our policies and our contractual obligations is evaluated. SSQ may terminate its relationship with individuals and organisations working on its behalf if they breach this policy.

This statement is made pursuant to section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes the SSQ Group’s slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending 31 December 2025. This statement was approved by the SSQ Group Limited Board of Directors on 20 March 2026.
