Emily is an Associate Director at SSQ. She co-heads the China In-House business and is based in Shanghai. Emily specialises in placing legal, compliance and IP professionals at all levels of seniority into diverse corporate platforms, including pharmaceutical, FMCG, TMT, industrial automation, AI, financial institutions (PE, VC, asset management, IBD), sports and entertainment.
Emily has worked in recruitment for 10 years, helping clients fulfil critical positions from general counsel to head of litigation. Prior to joining SSQ in April 2020, Emily worked for one of the largest global search firms in China. She studied Law and Journalism at the Southwest University of Political Science and Law, before getting her MSc in International Business and Marketing from the University of Newcastle, UK.
