Mercedes García Quintas is a consultant based in SSQ’s Spanish office. Prior to joining SSQ, Mercedes spent eight years in the Business Law division at Thomson Reuters, before specialising in headhunting senior lawyers for both private practice and in-house at an international legal recruitment firm for almost ten years. She has built up considerable experience, combining top quality recruitment advice with an in-depth understanding of the legal market in Spain and other jurisdictions, such as Italy.
Mercedes has experience working with lawyers at all levels in both Madrid and Barcelona. She works closely with law firm clients on a number of recruitment needs in both Spain and Italy on a regular basis. On the in-house side, she focuses on recruiting lawyers across a range of sectors on behalf of leading companies and financial institutions.
